    Louisiana Clean Fuels is taking our popular workshops on the road! Due to overwhelming demand, we will host a CNG Workshop at the Bossier Parish Community College.

    The workshop will include a natural gas vehicle expo, including pick-up trucks, a police Tahoe, an ambulance, a semi-tractor and a transit bus. The transit bus will take interested attendees to tour the Bossier City CNG fueling station.

    Even with low gas prices, CNG and other alternative fuels are still going strong. Experienced fleet managers know that volatility in fuel prices are the enemy of proper long-term planning. By diversifying your fleet's fueling sources - you can help stabilize your fuel costs - and even save money over time!

    DECAL Program Ends Jan. 1, 2016:  The 2015 Legislative Session brought many changes to the alternative fuel industry in Louisiana. Hear details on the changes to our tax incentives and learn how LDR will collect excise taxes for special fuels starting January 1, 2016.

    • Ann Shaneyfelt, Louisiana Clean Fuels - Your Clean Cities Coalition will update you on the CNG industry in Louisiana, funding availability and how Clean Cities can help your fleet with navigating the alternative fuel landscape.
    • Allen Nielsen, Ryder - Allen will share their Eagle Beverage CNG fleet conversion case study and answer your questions about vehicles, maintenance options and more!
    • Norman Herrera, Sparq Natural Gas - Norman will share information on recent projects and help you decide what kind of fueling infrastructure will work best for your fleet. 
    • Jim Tilley, CenterPoint Energy - Jim will walk you through the steps on working with your gas utility on your natural gas project.
