Thank you to NGV America for tracking these bills and bringing them to our attention:

HB 31 - Part of larger bill intended to scale back existing tax credits. Reduces tax credit values for alternative fuel vehicles from current rate of 36% of incremental cost to 25%, and in case of used vehicles and only in cases where a credit has not already been taken, reduces the tax credit from 7.2% of the cost or $1,500 to 5% or $1,500.  Also includes language restoring the tax credits to pre-2015 levels of 50% and $3,000.

HB 32 - Like 31B it also reduces value of the tax credits to 25% or $1,500 but it does not include language restoring the full values to 50% or $3,000.

HB 23 - Amends the tax credits for alternative fuel vehicles so that it is no longer refundable. Status: to Ways and Means 6/6/16.
