- Grant & Incentive Assistance – Maximize access to federal and state funding with expert writing and program guidance.
- Industry ESG Alignment – Showcase your clean transportation initiatives as part of your broader environmental and sustainability commitments.
- National Network Access – Gain the advantage of LCF’s connection to DOE national laboratories and a nationwide network of Clean Cities coalitions.
Let’s Work Together
Whether you are a fleet manager reducing costs, a municipality planning EV charging infrastructure, or an industry leader advancing ESG commitments, Louisiana Clean Fuels is here to guide your clean transportation projects with the local expertise you trust and the national network you can rely on.
Fleet Analysis Services
Louisiana Clean Fuels can help your fleet understand the potential benefits and costs associated with utilizing alternative fuel vehicles in your fleet. Working with your fleet, we can determine which alternative fuels may be a good fit for some or all of the vehicles you operate and connect you with subject matter experts and resources to help ensure the success of your project. We work with several fuel types, such as:
- Compressed Natural Gas
- Propane
- Electric Vehicles
- Biodiesel
- Renewable Diesel
- Hydrogen
We offer both Total Cost of Ownership and Fleet Emissions Analysis.
The process:
- Meet with LCF Staff to discuss your priorities, experience, budget, and other basic information that will guide our analysis
- Provide your fleet’s data in excel format
- Once we have your data, LCF will perform emissions analysis across the fleet in question’s data
- Provide recommendations based on your fleet’s stated goals such as building a priority set of your fleet to focus on vehicles most likely to be suitable for replacement
- Provide a report on potential actions your company can take to meet your goals. Such as performing a replacement analysis for the priority set of vehicles using the AFLEET tool developed by Argonne National Labs
What we need from you can be found here.
Fleet Transition Assistance
LCF can help your organization by guiding you through the process of transitioning your fleet while also providing you with resources and connections to make the implementation of both vehicles and infrastructure easier. We offer to assist with locating any necessary training, resources, oversight, facilitating connections, and connections with fleet managers who have untaken similar fleet conversion activities.
We offer both Total Cost of Ownership and Fleet Emissions Analysis.
We Can Provide:
- Suitability analysis for multiple fuel types across a subset of the existing fleet:
- Return-on-Investment (ROI) periods for various fuel and vehicle combinations
- Vehicle replacement priorities to meet your fleet goals (such as those in your ESG Plan)
- Greenhouse gas audit of the entire fleet.
- Well-to-wheels (lifecycle) greenhouse gas emissions
- Tailpipe greenhouse gas emissions
- Replacement Vehicle Cost Data:
- Vehicle cost estimates
- Fuel cost estimates
- Maintenance cost estimates
- Emissions Data (for existing fleet and replacement vehicles):
- Greenhouse Gasses (GHG)
- Carbon Monoxide (CO)
- Particulate Matter (2.5 and 10 micron)
- Sulfur Oxides (SOx)
- Nitrogen Oxides (NOx)
- Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs)
Grant Assistance
The Louisiana Clean Fuels team is well experienced and well placed to help with grant writing. We help entities apply for funding for transportation projects at any size. Our team is experienced in grant writing at all levels and has successfully won previous grants. Additionally, support from US DOE designated Clean Cities and Communities Coalitions, like LCF, are highly appreciated by federal grant reading teams.

Infrastructure Planning Assistance
Louisiana Clean Fuels has worked with communities to determine their alternative fuel infrastructure needs. In the past we have organized roundtable discussions for fleets to identify common issues, best practices, and lessons learned from previous experiences, most notably the roundtable discussion on the topic of Natural Gas Infrastructure. Additionally, LCF has worked with municipalities to get community feedback and identify ideal placement of alternative fuel infrastructure in a community; an example of which was during the State Plan for National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Deployment writing sessions LCF utilized tools to connect with the community to learn where Louisiana citizens considered best placement for electric vehicle charging stations.
