    Looking for an opportunity to give back and gain valuable experience in the alternative fuels industry? Volunteer with us! LCF is a non-profit organization supported by the Department of Natural Resources and member organizations. We love making connections with those in our community who share our goals of reducing transportation emissions and promoting alternative fuels. Check out our volunteer opportunities below, then submit the volunteer form to show your interest.

    Clean Fuels Classic 2021

    October 2021 | Pelican Point Golf & Country Club | Gonzales, LA

    We are hosting our 2nd Annual Clean Fuels Classic golf tournament in October 2021 and we could use volunteers to help with running the event.

    LCF Public Relations Committee

    LCF is developing a working committee that could help us better showcase our coalition, its goals and accomplishments, and how we can best serve stakeholders in Louisiana. Our goal is to draw attention to our value and our accomplishments as a Clean Cities coalition in addition to extending our reach in the state. There are many events and items that a PR Committee could assist with, including getting the word out to the media, social media promotion, and planning a press conference for major events like the Clean Fuels Classic in October 2021. We are looking for committee members who have relevant experience in this area.

    National Drive Electric Week (NDEW)

    September 25-October 3, 2021 | Event Dates & Locations TBA

    National Drive Electric Week is a nationwide celebration to heighten awareness of today's widespread availability of plug-in vehicles and highlight the benefits of all-electric and plug-in hybrid-electric cars, trucks, motorcycles, and more. There will be a variety of EVs on display including those from Jaguar, Nissan, Tesla, Chevrolet, and BMW. LCF is seeking volunteers - especially EV owners - to teach attendees and answer questions about electric vehicles and charging and share personal experiences owning and driving an EV in Louisiana.
