The GUMBO Project:
GUMBO is a workforce development initiative sponsored by Louisiana Clean Fuels in partnership with Baton Rouge Community College. This innovative project is funded by the US Department of Energy's Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy under the Vehicle Technologies Program Office. The initiative will train Louisiana residents to install, maintain, and serve electric vehicle charging equipment.

Want to be involved in this project? Here are some ways:
EVSE Companies / Installation Companies
- Donate to the program: EV charging equipment, tools and equipment for educational institutions, time, etc
- Hire graduates of the program
- Serve on a committee: curriculum review, outreach /job fairs
Higher Education Institutions
- If you'd like to host this program at your higher education institution, the curriculum and white papers will be available free of charge after the development and piloting phases are complete.
